Effective Age: Age on January 1st of the current HPMA racing season.

A. A rider must not be older than the maximum age limit, or younger than the minimum age limit, on January 1st in order to compete in a specific class for that current racing season. Exceptions are Vet and 40+ riders, who can enter those classes on the day of their birthday with proof of age (i.e. driver’s license or birth certificate).

B. Bike classification coordinators and/or the HPMA President reserve the right to make final decisions on whether a bike or rider is allowed or disallowed in a class for an event.

50cc Expert: Competitive Liquid Cooled 50 cc or less bikes, 10” wheels riders through age 8. Legal bikes: Polini X1, X3 Standard or Works, KTM Pro JR or SR, Beta, LEM, Cobra X3, CM50 King Cobra, Husky. All liquid cooled 50cc bikes or similar hp ratings. This class will not be eligible for Mini Non- Comp or Pee Wee A, B & C.

Pee Wee A/B/C: Non competitive, air cooled, recreational 50cc or less bikes only, 12mm Carb,10" wheels, stock bore and stroke. Riders 4 through 9 years of age. Legal bikes: Honda CRF50F (XR50R), Kawasaki KDX50, KTM Mini Adventurer, Suzuki JR50, Yamaha PW50, no training wheels.

Mini Quad: Four wheels 90cc or less, riders 4 through 12 years of age. 65 and 85 riders are not permitted to enter.

Mini Non-Competitive B/C: 110cc or less noncompetitive, recreational, air-cooled mini bikes only. Riders ages 6-12. Stock wheel sizes. Legal bikes: Beta Mini cross 10/10& 12/15, Kawasaki KLX110, Honda CRF 70 / 80 / 100F (XR), Husky, KTM JR & SR Adventurer, LEM LX2 / 3/ 4, Polini X1 /3 / 5 recreational air cooled, Suzuki JR (DS) 80 / DRZ110, Yamaha PW80 / TTR90. Or any other recreational air cooled bikes with similar hp ratings.

65 A/B/C: 65cc two stroke or up to 110cc air cooled four stroke, wheel limit 14" front and 12" rear. Riders age 6 through 11 years. Legal bike (Ex: Kawasaki KX65 & KLX110, Suzuki RM65 & DRZ110, Yamaha TTR90). These class will not be eligible for Mini Non-Comp.

85 A/B/C: 85cc 2 stroke or any recreational air cooled four stroke up to 150cc. CRF150R will not be legal to run in the 85 classes. Wheel limits 19" front and 16"rear. All big wheel kits will be illegal in the 85 classes in 2008. Riders through 16 years of age. Legal 4 stroke bikes are air cooled CRF150F, TTR125, or other similar bikes. Pro riders cannot race in 85cc.

Super Mini: Maximum engine displacement including overbores is 112cc two strokes or 150cc four strokes. Wheel limits: 19" front & 16" rear. Riders though age 16 (Non Pro). Wheel base cannot exceed 56" from axle to axle. 65cc bikes not legal. Only class legal for big wheel kits on 85's in 2008.

250 A/B/C: 2 stroke 125cc, 4 stroke 126-250cc, no age limit. 19" & 21" tires.

450 A/B/C: 2 stroke 250cc, 4 stroke 251 thru 450cc, no age limit. 19" & 21" tires.

Open School Boy: 250 Class bikes only, Open Class, Ages 12-16 (Non Pro). Super mini's not allowed.

Open Outlaw: 250 Class bikes and up, Age 12 & up, and no "C" riders. "B" riders may loose their eligibility as an amateur in other circuits if entering this class. (100% entry fee pays back class, no rider division).

Vet A/B/C = Age 30 and older, same bike specifications as Open Outlaw (full entry fee payback for A class only). Actual age on race day is the effective age for class entry.

40+ Open = Age 40 and older, same bike specifications as Open Outlaw, 100% payback. Actual age on race day is the effective age for class entry.

Women's Advanced & Beginner Class: Women must be age 12 and older. Legal bikes for this class are 85cc Class bikes and larger. Women are eligible to race all other classes in C. (Ex: Women's Advanced can race 250C etc.)
